More companies are discovering the hidden value of Story Telling. Seekers of capital infusion are realizing that in addition to a sound product and attractive financial projections, they must first and foremost, capture the heart of the investor.
But there is a higher dimension than “telling,n” and it’s “showing”
I can tell my spouse all day, “I love you,” but unless the tongue in my mouth and the tongue in my shoe are in alignment, there would be no wow and residual impact.
in this higher plain, not only do i shut my mouth, but my audience would, likewise, shut their mouth, “for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.”
So ask yourself this simple question, as you press pause to examine your effectiveness: “Are you telling your story, or are you showing your story?”
