SET your intention to Show, NOT Tell your story – Week 18 of 52

Isiah 52:15  (KJV)

… the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.

Comment:

More companies are discovering the hidden value of Story Telling. Seekers of capital infusion are realizing that in addition to a sound product and attractive financial projections, they must first and foremost, capture the heart of the investor.

But there is a higher dimension than “telling,n” and it’s “showing”

I can tell my spouse all day, “I love you,” but unless the tongue in my mouth and the tongue in my shoe are in alignment, there would be no wow and residual impact.

in this higher plain, not only do i shut my mouth, but my audience would, likewise, shut their mouth, “for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.”

So ask yourself this simple question, as you press pause to examine your effectiveness:  “Are you telling your story, or are you showing your story?”

Set your mind on sons – Week 5 of 52

There comes a point in our lives where there is no amount of research; no amount of expert advice; etc., can compare to the ideas that are birth from receiving divine counsel. This form of ideation is what I call, generating “sons.”

Psalm 45:16-17The Message (MSG)

16-17 Set your mind now on sons—     don’t dote on father and grandfather. You’ll set your sons up as princes     all over the earth.
I’ll make you famous for generations;     you’ll be the talk of the town
for a long, long time.”

To clarify, I am not suggesting that you ignore expert advice, …… just don’t let that take precedence over the expert of experts.
