Set your Love upon Him – Week 30 of 52

Psalm 91:14

Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name

Comment:

Have you forsaken that which you have craved for in your past life. Did you do it with conviction and courage, only to wake up one day in doubt, unbelief and regret.

You then find yourself laboring to restore your glory.

Be encouraged, you forsook out of a pure heart. You were in a place of REST, bur in every REST there is a TEST. You will be delivered from this test, through him, because you have set your love upon Him. Not only that, you will also be promoted by Him.

Rejoice!

SET for the Pattern (System) of falling and Rising – Week 22 of 52

Luke 2:34 King James Version (KJV)

34 And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;

Comment:

Time and time again, we are shown the system of God (that the way up is down). Ref. John 12:24

We saw it in the Power of the resurrection, we saw it in the transformation of apostle Paul (on the road to Damascus), etc. However, in our high tech, aspiration economy, where the attraction is towards the rising (only), crowds are not drawn to the falling and rising system.

Apostle Paul seals this system by saying, “He gives grace (supernatural ability) to the humble.

So if you find yourself on the decline, don’t be too quick to blame Satan. It just might be God, placing you in training.

Sometimes we have to retreat in order to advance.”

Set your sights on Divine Partnerships – Week 21 of 52

Mark 6:41 King James Version (KJV)

41 And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before them; and the two fishes divided he among them all.

Comment:

There was nothing in the natural that indicated there was sufficient resources to feed the multitude.

The same Jesus, who took the five loaves and two fishes….. who, first, looked to heaven, blessed and broke the loaves and gave to the disciples to participate in the supernatural provision, lives in you and I.

His pattern has not changed.

As part of his body, we have already been broken, blessed and given. Our job now is to SET the standard (aka raise the banner) of righteousness.

Are you tired of going it alone?

God’s desire is SET in our hearts

2 Corinthians 4:6 King James Version (KJV) – Week 15 of 52

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

From the beginning, God’s desire has been for man to express His nature from his/her heart, no matter the domain (business, sports, government, education, clergy, etc.)

While college prepares you to be a practitioner, a skilled craftsman, God desire is for us to walk in “integrity of heart, and skillfulness of hand” – Psalms 78:72

We may get a job with impressive skills, but it’s our leadership Character that will provide sustainability. That leadership character is in our heart.

My encouragement to you today is to not be defined by success. You are bigger than success. Even in the midst of “failure” God’s character is being chiseled into you.

Down but not out – Week 12 of 52

11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Acts 4:11

12 And he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought. Mark 9:12

When God SET’s you, it doesn’t matter what it looks like on the surface. It may look like you are set at naught (set at the Zero Mark) ONLY if you are comparing yourself to someone else.

When God sets you there is no other fingerprint like yours on the planet.

Like Bamboo, which may show little to no growth in the first few years, (where it may seem like you are down for the count,) your growth has a set time (because you are set and marked by God) and it will have a sudden growth.

Mindset of a champion – Week 7 of 52

“Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words.” – Daniel 10:12

Friends, there are always forces at work prohibiting your answer and destiny from manifesting. These negative forces (saboteurs)  can come from our thoughts and words.

Daniel, had often been described as a man of excellence. In my eye, he represents one with the mindset of a champion (not in its traditional sense, but one who who goes to fight on behalf of others).

With that mental disposition, he heard and heeded to the voice of God that he ought not to allow fear to distort his thoughts and words.

Father, I thank you (according to Isaiah 50) that you have given me the tongue of the learned that I am able to speak a word in season. I set my mind in alignment with Your Word. Through you I am supernaturally fashioned and designed for victory. As a rudder sets the direction of a ship, I too set the direction of my mind as I meditate (mmuter) upon Your Words that are written on my heart. In Jesus Name
