Set your Love upon Him – Week 30 of 52

Psalm 91:14

Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name

Comment:

Have you forsaken that which you have craved for in your past life. Did you do it with conviction and courage, only to wake up one day in doubt, unbelief and regret.

You then find yourself laboring to restore your glory.

Be encouraged, you forsook out of a pure heart. You were in a place of REST, bur in every REST there is a TEST. You will be delivered from this test, through him, because you have set your love upon Him. Not only that, you will also be promoted by Him.

Rejoice!

Set our eyes on Him in times of error– Week 29 of 52

Romans 4:8

Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord will never count against them.

Comment:

We live in a very busy world. As such, one of the best tools to master is our calendar. Every once in a while something may slip. There is a good chance it slipped because we get caught up in the business. That is not the time to condemn ourselves. Let’s recognize it for what it is. We walked by sight and not by faith in that instance. In times like this we simply repent, and seek the Lord for His direction at the beginning, during and at the end of the following days.

If the Lord never count sin (whatsoever is not of faith) against us, then neither should we.

Set apart for Him – Week 28 of 52

1 Thessalonians 5:23-25 New Life Version (NLV)

23 May the God of peace SET you apart for Himself. May every part of you be set apart for God. May your spirit and your soul and your body be kept complete. May you be without blame when our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. 24 The One Who called you is faithful and will do what He promised.

Comment:

Have you ever felt like every door you attempted to walk in becomes shot all of a sudden or or every person who said they were going to collaborate with you suddenly disappears? These may not be the work of the other individuals. These may be divinely appointed shut doors.

God has set us apart for Himself. He wants every part of us (spirit, soul, and body.)

He wants us to lean into him, to trust Him with all our heart (Proverbs 3:5).

I truly believe that God wants us to live by the mantra: Trust God for everything; rely on man for nothing, but be grateful to man for every kind gesture.

Set your words on Edification – Week 27 of 52

Isaiah 50:4

The Lord Jehovah hath given me the tongue of [a]them that are taught, that I may know how [b]to sustain with words him that is weary:

=================================================

Comment:

This has to be one of the most powerful text I have read in the Bible.

I once heard Pastor Charles Stanley say, “when you find yourself Hungry, Angry, Lonely, or Tired, just scream out HALT. It should stop you in your tracks.” In other words, when you find yourself weary, shout out, HALT. There are countless times I have applied those words of wisdom.

But what if it is the other person who is weary. What is they are coming to you with guns blazing, from a place of weariness.

Isaiah, makes it, clear, even in situations like we must recognize that it’s not about us. We’ve got to look past the person and see the problem (weariness). Once we do that, we then speak a word that can strengthen and support the other person physically and emotionally.
